Shin Hye Sun is going to be back on the screens but this time, she’s bringing something totally different and intriguing to the table. According to the recent buzz and reports, Hye Sun has been casted for an upcoming thriller, Lady Dior, where she will be a lead character.
The brilliant mind behind “My Name” is directing this new crime mystery so you are definitely allowed to expect something crazy. Yep, that’s right – we’re talking about Kim Jin Min, who’s given us not one, but consecutive major hits like Extracurricular and Lawless Lawyer.
Lady Dior is Set to Become a Must-Watch Crime Mystery
To give you a bit of context, let’s talk about what exactly Lady Dior plans to portray. With the brand name of these Lady Dior handbags, one thing comes to mind and that is… luxury. The drama picks up something similar to it. It’s about a woman who wants to build a luxury brand but she doesn’t care about the product or quality. (not even if it’s fake!)
That’s where a clever and bold Korean-American scammer, Sarah Kim (played by Shin Hye Sun) steps in and offers to help. How can she help? Well, she is skilful at creating fake luxury brands that lure in the rich and fancy and fool them. Witness a combination of deception, ambition, and jaw-dropping moments as Sarah is out to take on the elite. We are all too excited to see how Hye Sun performs this grey-shaded character!
Shin Hye Sun played super fun roles in Mr Queen, See You In My 19th Life, and Angel’s Last Mission. If you are already a fan of these, you’d know her skills at killing any act. Lady Dior will be an 8-episode OTT treat!
There is no information on the exact release date yet. But the new crime mystery, written by Chu Song Yeon, is surely shaping its way to be a must-watch!
