The K-drama Love Next Door has occupied the first spot in the October K-drama brand reputation rankings. It is a fantastic, light-hearted rom-com that revolves around Baek Seok Ryu, an academically smart student. Growing up, she was quickly hired by a very large firm but due to her personal reasons, she left the job.
On the other side of the story, there’s a handsome and unrealistically talented young architect, Choi Seung Hyo. The two spent time together in their childhood and now, destiny brings them together again, as adults.
A Mix of Romance, Legal Drama, and Thrills
Coming to the second in-place drama, “Good Partner.” It is a highly interesting legal drama that showcases a star veteran lawyer in the field of divorce. In her job, she has to work with a rookie, Han Yu-Ri, who is new to it all. They work together on tough cases but always end up bickering due to their differences in values and experience. But, they also undergo a huge change in their lives due to it.
The drama takes a realistic and direct approach to the dilemmas people face in situations like unexpected breakups that they didn’t imagine and the moments their family is torn apart.
The third spot, “Black Out,” is a thriller drama based on the novel, Snow White Must Die. It follows two detectives in a town where strange occurrences happen. It also features Go Jung Woo, a smart student who ends up committing a murder and gets imprisoned for 11 years.
