Match Preview
Sri Lanka are set to host Pakistan for a three-match T20I series and will be looking to correct their course in the shorter format after losing three of their last five games. The series presents a good opportunity for them to regain momentum at home.
Meanwhile, Pakistan come into the series with better recent results in T20 cricket, having won four of their last five matches, including a notable victory over Sri Lanka in the final of the tri-series. Their recent form gives them confidence heading into this contest.
The two sides have faced each other 24 times in this format, with Pakistan holding the edge with 14 wins, while Sri Lanka have won 10 matches. Both teams have named well-balanced squads as they look to fine-tune their combinations ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup.
