Match Preview

Sri Lanka have suffered back to back defeats, with England halting their Super 8 campaign through a 51 run victory. They are currently at the bottom of the points table and will need a win here to stay in contention for the top two spots.

Meanwhile, New Zealand shared points with Pakistan after their previous match was abandoned due to rain. They remain a strong side and will be aiming for a win to strengthen their position, especially given their reputation in ICC events.

Pathum Nissanka will be the top choice for the captaincy role, having scored 208 runs so far and being well suited to the conditions. Tim Seifert, who has scored 173 runs in the tournament, stands out as the leading option for the vice captaincy role in your SL vs NZ Dream11 team.
