Missed the action-packed ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ in theatres? Worry not, Nani’s latest film has made its way to Netflix on 26th September.
The movie hit theatres a month ago, on 29th August and fans were awaiting its release on OTT platforms. With the outstanding direction of Vivek Athreya, the film had a massive success at the box office and has collected just over ₹200 crores. The engaging plot and thrilling action sequences contributed to the IMDb rating of 7.6/10. Co-stars SJ Suryah and Priyanka Mohan also gave powerful performances.

In case you couldn’t watch the movie on the big screen, ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ can now be streamed on Netflix. For increasing the accessibility, the platform is offering it in multiple languages like Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The streaming giant recently posted on X, “Saturday Basha osthunnadu! Yudhhaniki rangam siddham! Watch Saripodhaa Sanivaaram tomorrow…”

The main cast of the movie includes Nani as Surya, S.J. Suryah as R. Dayanand, Priyanka Mohan as Charu/Charulatha, Aditi Balan as Bhadra, Murali Sharma as Koormanand and Sai Kumar as Surya’s father Sankaram.
Other prominent roles are played by Subhalekha Sudhakar as Kamalakar, Abhirami as Chayadevi, Supreeth as Kaali, Ajay Ghosh as Narayana Prabha and Ajay as Govardhan.
Written and directed by Vivek Athreya, the movie is produced by DVV Danayya. Jakes Bejoy is the music composer while Murali G., the cinematographer. The film was edited by Karthika Srinivas.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Story
The plot is woven around Nani’s character named Surya who is struggling with anger management issues. As a result, his mother advises him to vent his fury only on Saturdays. While following this suggestion, he confronts a corrupt officer (SJ Suryah) one day. This clash is the main storyline and the highlight of the movie.
‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ is Nani’s biggest hit. Following the massive successes of ‘Dasara’ and ‘Hi Nanna’, Nani has scored three back to back hits with the movie. Another notable aspect of the film is the romantic track between Nani and Priya Arul Mohan that makes it a solid OTT watch. With the film’s much anticipated release on Netflix, it is expected to make new records on the platform.
