Match Preview

Sydney Sixers are unbeaten in their last five matches, winning four of them, with one game ending without a result, and are firmly in contention for a place in the qualifiers. They will be keen to carry this strong run into what shapes up as a crucial encounter.

Brisbane Heat find themselves in a similar situation, with a win here potentially securing qualification, as only one spot remains and both sides are fighting for it. The Heat come into this match on a two-match winning streak and will be looking to deliver when it matters most.

Jack Edwards has been a standout performer, picking up 15 wickets and also contributing 109 runs, which makes him the top choice for the captaincy role. Jack Wildermuth, who has been a consistent performer for Brisbane Heat with 221 runs and 9 wickets so far, stands out as a strong option for vice-captaincy in this game.
