Match Preview
India continued their dominance over New Zealand as an emphatic eight-wicket win in the third game helped them seal the series, also avenging their earlier ODI series defeat. Skipper Suryakumar Yadav, along with Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan at the top, has been firing on all cylinders and setting the tone for the side.
However, the form of Sanju Samson remains a concern, and the team will hope he regains his rhythm in the remaining two games.
New Zealand, meanwhile, have looked decent with the bat, but their bowlers have struggled to contain the aggressive Indian batting unit. With the series already lost, the visitors will be keen to put in stronger performances in the remaining matches to avoid a whitewash.
Suryakumar Yadav, the leading run scorer of the series with 171 runs, remains the top choice for the captaincy role. Hardik Pandya, who has scored 25 runs and picked up four wickets so far, stands out as the preferred vice-captaincy option.
