Alright fans, let’s talk about the latest buzz and headlines revolving around the fan-favorite Korean star Park Seo-joon. Is he really dating Lauren Tsai? Well, the straightforward answer might not be to your liking: neither of them have spilled any tea (yet).
Park Seo-joon is an incredible k-drama actor known for his roles in hit shows like What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim (2018), Parasite (2019), and his recent project, Gyeongseong Creature (2023-24) among others. While on the other hand, Lauren Tsai is a Chinese-American actress and model.
In June 2024, Park Seo-joon and Lauren Tsai were found together in Japan. They shared their pictures on social media that looked like they were taken in the same spot. Can it be a coincidence? Fans would like to think otherwise.
What Does Park Seo-joon Have to Say?
During a press conference, Park Seo-joon told fans:
“I’m grateful for the attention, but in my case, I tend to feel greatly burdened by opening up my private life [to the public], and since this is a personal matter, I think it will be difficult for me to particularly comment.”
Despite this, admirers are quite excited to dig deeper into the rumour and some have even formed their opinions. Lauren’s international fans are particularly not thrilled about it, saying, “She’s too good for him.” Ouch! The reason being Park’s misogynistic comment on women some years ago where he said he’s more attracted to skinny women that spark his protective instinct.
But his South Korean fans came to defense and said that he was much younger at the time of that comment. He must have evolved over time.
Park’s agency, Awesome ENT, also stepped into the matter to put it to rest (or at least to do so). They denied the humors completely and said that Park had gone to Japan for a brand event, a work-related thing. Other celebrities were also invited there, including Lauren.
Now, to give this a final touch, the Park Seo-joon and Lauren Tsai dating buzz is just a speculation at this point. But, hey, we are keeping our eyes peeled for anything “coincidental” that may add to the credibility!
