Match Preview

Joburg Super Kings were the last team to qualify for the playoffs, finishing the group stage with four wins from 10 games. They come into this eliminator on the back of a confidence-boosting win over the same Paarl Royals side and will be keen to deliver another strong performance when it matters most.

Paarl Royals, meanwhile, finished third in the group stage with five wins from 10 games. However, they enter this contest after back-to-back defeats and will be looking to correct their course at a crucial stage of the tournament.

Sikandar Raza remains the top choice for the captaincy role following his outstanding all-round performances, having scored 64 runs and picked up 14 wickets so far in the tournament. David Miller, who has accumulated 196 runs, is a strong option for the vice-captaincy role given his experience and current form.
