Match Preview
Pakistan have been impressive in this format in recent times, having won four of their last five series, with one ending in a draw. They have strengthened their squad for this assignment with the inclusion of Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi, both of whom missed the previous series against Sri Lanka.
Australia, meanwhile, have also been a dominant side, but they enter this series on the back of a home series defeat against India. Prior to that setback, they had won four consecutive series.
Travis Head, who has scored 1,197 runs in the format, stands out as the top choice for the captaincy role, given his strong record on Asian pitches. Saim Ayub, who has amassed 1,109 runs and picked up 21 wickets, emerges as the leading option for the vice-captaincy role.
