Match Preview
Pakistan got off to a winning start in the three match series, defeating Australia by 22 runs. Batting first, Pakistan posted a competitive total of 168 runs. Despite losing Sahibzada Farhan on the very first ball of the innings, Saim Ayub and Salman Agha stitched together a solid partnership for the second wicket, which helped calm the innings. Their contribution laid the foundation for Pakistan to reach a respectable total.
For Australia, Adam Zampa was the standout performer with the ball, picking up four wickets, while Xavier Bartlett and Mahli Beardman chipped in with two wickets apiece.
