Match Preview

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women began their campaign with a dramatic win over Mumbai Indians and will take plenty of confidence from that result heading into this match.

Meanwhile, UP Warriorz Women had a disappointing start, going down to Gujarat Giants by 10 runs in their opening game. Despite the loss, they have a strong batting core in the form of Meg Lanning, Phoebe Litchfield and Harleen Deol, and will be aiming for an improved all-round performance.

Nadine de Klerk stands out as the top choice for the captaincy role after her impactful performance in the previous game, where she scored 63 runs and picked up four wickets. Meg Lanning, who comes into this contest on the back of a 30-run knock in her last outing, shapes up as a solid option for vice-captaincy.
