Match Preview

South Africa have continued their dominant run with the bat and, with a seven wicket victory in the second game, sealed the series and moved closer to a potential whitewash. Quinton de Kock, who missed the opening match, returned in fine fashion with a brilliant century as he led the chase of West Indies’ imposing total of 221 runs.

West Indies will be hoping for a much improved bowling performance after their attack was taken apart by the Proteas batters in both matches so far.

Ryan Rickelton, who has scored 117 runs across the two games, stands out as the top choice for the captaincy role. Quinton de Kock, coming off a match winning 115 run innings, shapes up as a strong vice captaincy option, especially with the pitch expected to favour batters.
