Match Preview
Sydney Sixers have won four of their eight matches so far and were on a three-match winning streak before their previous game was abandoned due to rain. With qualification still within reach, they will be keen to win both of their remaining matches to strengthen their chances of making the qualifiers.
Meanwhile, Sydney Thunder have already been eliminated from the tournament, having managed just two wins from nine games. They are currently placed at the bottom of the points table and will be playing for pride in their remaining fixtures.
Jack Edwards has been a standout performer, scoring 92 runs and picking up 14 wickets so far, which makes him the top choice for the captaincy role. David Warner, the experienced batter who has amassed 323 runs at an average of 64.60, stands out as a strong option for vice-captaincy in this game.
