England have continued to dominate Sri Lanka on Sri Lanka’s home turf. After winning the ODI series, they sealed the T20 series with a six wicket victory in the second game. England’s preparations have been strong and confident, while Sri Lanka will need to rethink their plans and approach ahead of the upcoming World Cup.
Sri Lanka will be eager to end the series on a positive note and gain some momentum before the World Cup. England, meanwhile, will be in no mood to leave anything to chance as they look to complete a clean sweep and head into the big tournament with confidence.
Sam Curran stands out as the top choice for the captaincy role after scoring 21 runs and picking up 3 wickets so far in the series. Kusal Mendis, who has scored 69 runs, shapes up as a strong option for the vice captaincy role, given his experience and familiarity with home condition
